I thought both John & Kurt were very courteous and friendly. They were able to get my son’s car in the shop very quickly. Also, Honest-1 are one of the few people opened on a Saturday. As for the mechanics in the shop, they didn’t do their due diligence. I was charged $75 for them to tell me that my A/C compressor was bad when I already told them the compressor wouldn’t run. Also, to have the compressor fixed the estimate would cost me approximately $900. What I found was that the A/C pressure switch wires were torn off the switch which is a condition to allow the A/C compressor to run. Of course, I didn’t catch that until I pulled the under body splash guards off. I’d be very cautious about taking my vehicles there again. I’d like to update my comments on my experience with Honest-1 Auto. After I posted my first review I received a call from Troy-store manager of Honest-1 regarding my initial comment. He said he wanted to make things right with me so he reimbursed the $75 for the diagnosis and the $189 for vacuuming out the old refrigerant. I was impressed on how quickly I heard back from Honest-1 as they seemed to really care about customer satisfaction. I increased my rating from 3 stars to 5 stars. I was hesitant to update my review from to 5 stars because I bought and installed the new compressor and dryer b/c of the incorrect diagnosis. But, I appreciate the great follow-up and making things right with me. Because of the call from Troy, I will be going back to Honest-1 in the future. Thank you Troy!
